There’s only one place to start – the dominant performance of Karl Schaefer (Paradise Knights). His 29.91 average was the best SADA average for at least three seasons. He hit Max Pegs, equalled the season’s shortest leg with 11 and didn’t have a leg longer than 20 darts. The newly crowned SA singles champion, Scott Hallett, led the Parafield Bulls Hitters back up to second spot with Max Pegs and a 25 average. They are one of three teams sitting two points behind the Bin Chickens on top. Jacques Wadey (Cobras Black) got everyone talking with 144 and 145 pegs in consecutive legs against the same opponent. He has 6 Ton+ Pegs for the season, well ahead of the next best with 3. Darren Rymell from Suvners is the new leader at the top of the Ron Miller MVP Award. Having played 6 out of 6 games this season, his contribution to the Suvners is reaching new highs.
Dart Vaders have extended their lead at the top of the Prem B ladder to four points after a strong 12-6 win over Blackhawks on the same night second-placed Usual Suspects lost 11-7 to the Black Knights. Dart Vaders still have the top three players in the Ron Miller MVP Award while their fourth player – captain Peter Russo – had this week’s highest MVP score and best average – 21.91, which is his best at SADA. The Black Knights will be hoping Con Mavris is a regular starter from here on as he consolidated his position at the top of the league’s singles averages (20.47). The Knights are undefeated when he plays but have lost 3 out of 4 without him. The Hornets are sitting in third spot – three wins clear of the relegation battle that our so-called 'expert' predicted for them before the season. Reigning Peter Gibson Medallist Alan Towns hit Max Pegs (10) this week.
Madhouse have triumphed in the battle for 2nd spot, defeating DartsHolics thanks to a Max Pegs performance from Lachlan Stock, and a personal-best 3/3 singles wins and 16+ average by Charles Monzora. Loonies have shown that they can’t be taken lightly this season as their best line-up features two of the top 5 averages in the league, including the very dangerous Daniel Hibbert who is back after a stint in Prem A. MOA Dingoes star Lee Cole has gone to the top of the race for the Ron Miller MVP Award, despite playing one less game than almost all the Top 10. His 22.64 average this week is the best weekly average in Prem C (or Prem B) this season.Â
SADA’s Prem A has proven its competitiveness across the board with four out of four matches finishing 10-8 this week. The Suvners win knocked the Parafield Bull Hitters down from 1st to 4th on the ladder. The win was led by Darren Rymell’s 25.31 average with 4 out of 5 singles wins. The Bin Chickens have snuck into top spot with three wins on the bounce after two draws to start the season. Captain Adam Leek is the new leader of the Ron Miller MVP Award. The Outsiders bounced back from losing the two doubles to claim their first win of the season and put breathing space between them and bottom-placed Cobras Black. Toon Squad’s George Creasey won the final singles match to consign the Paradise Knights to their 2nd loss but Karl Schaefer (Knights) was flawless with Max Pegs and the round’s best average – 26.46.
Dart Vaders handed the Usual Suspects their first defeat of 2025 and clearly have become the new team to beat in Premier B. Black Knights got their first win of the season over the Rebels while the Blackhawks defeated the Hornets and took their spot in third. Geoff Matthews (Dart Vaders) extended his lead in the Ron Miller MVP Award with the night’s highest average of 20.44. Two of his Vaders teammates hold the other two spots on the podium. Two mega pegs both eclipsed the previous best of the season. Mark Deacon (Blackhawks) hit 150 but the high peg is Peter Russo (Dart Vaders) with a 160.
Maid of Auckland Dingoes took over at the top of the ladder with victory over the DartsHolics, while Madhouse were too good for Lion Kings. With every team now having played each other once a clear Top 3 have emerged, which is in line with pre-season expectations. Madhouse and DartsHolics play the match of the round next week with the winner to keep in touch with top spot. Madhouse 17-year-old Lachlan Stock had a massive 19.78 average but it was still second best of the round to Maid of Auckland Dingoes gun Lee Cole, who had 22.62 with a 15-dart leg and a 160 peg! Madhouse captain Alex Brow threw his second Max Pegs of the season, as well as his second and third 180 of the season to continue his lead at the top of the Ron Miller MVP Award.
