SENSATIONAL SADA FINISHES SECOND AT STATE CHAMPS

SADA has finished in a tie for second amongst a strong field of South Australian darts associations at the 2026 State Championships.

SADA was led by its particularly strong ladies contingent, who topped the points for the ladies side of the Championships and won all three events – Fours, Pairs and Singles.

The SADA men contributed plenty of points as well as they battled it out with the best in the state across the weekend. 

The number of clubs represented at the State Championships has expanded considerably in recent years with many newly affiliated clubs having representatives make finals and semi-finals this year. It has meant there was far more competition for picking up points this year but in the end it was a familiar story at the top with LCDA winning the overall title for the third year in a row on 336 points and SADA in second also for the third year in a row. This year, SADA shared second place on 306 points with NDDA.
